Applied on 30 September and received the duo card today, but the contact less card didn't receive.. don't know why not sent together.
Anyone successfully to activate only 1 card? Workable?

Hi everyone, when I try to register online by using credit cards, it stated 'FAILED TO RETRIEVED RECORD'.
Called to their customer service and the agent said must visit branch to register online account.
Is it a must? Anyone has similar experiences to share?

Of course workable. But you cant save on the SST on the visa version of duo card or master version. But master version got rebate though.

Please visit branch. Then register online, wait until the next day to view.

Yes, visit branch is a must to register online. Wait next day can see the cards appeared.

i've shifted my insurance autodebit to this card early this month. will need to wait till next month's statement to see the results biggrin.gif

imo, should be ok since affin didnt specify any other criteria except "auto-billing"

I've asked CS and the reply was Insurance auto debit entitled for cashback.
But need to try to find out if CS give right/wrong info

Insurance is not under exclusion.
Why not entitle from the first place?

Yes. I noticed that too.
Mana tahu, sometimes it's listed in some other parts of the small prints somewhere.
Anyway, I just asked coz I was checking with CS re the card that went Missing in transit

If activate the cashback card only, will waive the SST or not?
Now the SST appear in my credit card statement

SST waiver/rebate is only for the Mastercard Rewards card.

who say not entitled?

this is your assumption.


my point is, the more real-life user experiences shared here, the better we understand Affin's definition of "auto-billing" is.

as statement in T&C/FAQ, there is no exclusion to insurance auto-debit.

Correct. This is what the CS told me when i applied at the branch for TRIO. That is why she kept mentioning please make sure my email is correct.

Lol. Planning to get VS only at the 1st place, but CS “encourage” to get the duo as well, as claimed many go there also applied 3 cards.

Give it a try la, if don like then just terminate later.
