Just one thing, if I buy something bulky (Macbook Pro) and fly back here, will the Malaysian custom stop me and ask me to pay "tax"? Assuming it's only 1 and still wrapped.

thailand has apple stores probably also due to its prime location in the SEA region. it’s not about whether the local citizens are using apple products. thailand is a tourist destination, and tourists as well as many expats could also purchase apple products at a cheaper rate

u guy all super apple fan pls buy more apple product, make the Apple market share in malaysia market go up, then apple will open store here

I'll start a suggestion list of where Apple could possibly open one here in Malaysia with a special design. Just for the fun.
1) Bukit Bintang, one of the shoplot/building of the row of shoplot facing Fahrenheit 88. Design -> Full Glass
2) Opposite BB's McD corner building. Design -> Full Glass
3) Any shoplot facing Berjaya Times Square. Design -> Normal shop lot (Not ideal)
