Anda Seat Kaiser Dimension:

Size Fitting:
According to Anda Seat official statement, the Kaiser series is fit for huge person:
Official Recommended Official Max
Height: 175cm ~ 206cm 216cm
Weight: >80kg 200kg
I personally think that anyone above 165cm and 65kg can use this chair comfortably. (*I myself is around 170cm and 65kg)
However your feet may not able to touch the ground. (Please read next section)

Padding Review:
According to Anda Seat official statement, the seat and backrest padding are consists of double layered, 3.8cm memory foam and 6.4cm high density cold cured foam.
user posted image
With the high density cold cured foam, the seat is not too soft or too hard, just at the right firm.
The memory foam also helps to maintain the padding form.

Two Factors that you might want to consider:
  • Seat Thickness
In order to achieve the comfortable seat, the Kaiser series seat is much thicker compared to other chairs, approximately 10cm.
Therefore if you are a short person, you might want to consider getting a footrest if your feet unable to touch the ground.
  • Seat Depth
Another factor to consider is the seat depth. The Kaiser series seat depth is 55cm.
If you are a smaller person, your buttock may not able to lean at the backrest area. Even with the lumbar pillow, it would around 51cm~53cm.
However, what you may do is put another stack pillow / baby mattress to push the lumbar support more outwards.

Neck Pillow and Lumbar Pillow Review:
Next, these are the two factors you want further consider:
user posted image
  • Lumbar Pillow
The Kaiser series large lumbar pillow is very comfortable and detachable (*you would instantly notice if you try SecretLab before)
However, the Kaiser series lumbar pillow has limited adjustable height, unless you removed its large neck pillow.

Personally, I feel the lumbar pillow would be better if it is much thicker rather than have the same thickness with the neck pillow due to most of the gravity pressure is on lumbar pillow.

  • Neck Pillow
The Kaiser series unique neck pillow is one of it own class, it is also detachable.
What this unique neck pillow do is whenever you rest your head on the pillow, it pushes your shoulder and chest outward, fixing your sitting posture.
    user posted image
Unfortunately, the Kaiser series is designed with height not adjustable neck pillow, the neck area is 64cm height from the seat.
If you feel your neck is not reachable, you can consider flip-over the neck support to reduce the height.

Personally, the neck pillow does not feel unconformable for me and I get used to it after few days of usage.
However this might not the same for you, I strongly advise to try it before decided to purchase this chair.

Cover Material Review:
The Kaiser series chair and pillow cover is made from high premium PVC leather, that looks like BMW leather.
The rear chair is made from carbon fiber leather.

Like all leather, it is less breathable compared to fabric, and might not conformable during hot days.
So far I only use the chair for 1 months without air-conditioner, the leather might feel just a little warm.
The leather condition still fine. I will update again after 1 years & 2 years usage.

Armrest Review:
The Kaiser series is equipped with 4D armrest.
user posted image
Its armrest aren't that great compared to other gaming chairs.
i. The armrest height is not able to adjust higher, you only able to adjust between 20cm (lowest) ~27cm (highest) from the seat.
ii. The armrest sideway only can adjust +/- 1cm from the default center position. Since the chair width is huge, you might find the armrest is too further apart from your body.
iii. The armrest pan/swivel can only be exact 70° or 90° or 110°.

Backrest Angle Review:
The Kaiser series backrest angle adjustable from 90° ~ 160°.
user posted image
It does not allow adjust up to 180° due to safety reason. When you soften the seat suspension, and lie down to 160°, due to your center of gravity, the seat suspension actually raise the front seat by 20° and the backrest to 180°.

Seat Suspension Review:
The Kaiser series seat suspension is one of its selling points too.
I yet to encounter any case where my chair flip-over due to the seat suspension.
user posted image

Chair Base Review:
The base is 34cm radius 5-star shape, which large enough to prevent the chair to flip-over.
It is made up from stainless steel I presume? due to no magnetic.
The wheels are 7.6cm large wheels, and very quiet.

My Final Verdict:
Anda Seat Kaiser is not a bad chair, but isn't the best chair either.
If you consider getting a gaming chair, the first factor you want to consider is either fabric / leather chair.
If you not using air-conditioner, and worry that it's feel uncomfortable during hot days, then Anda Seat Kaiser is out for you.

If you still consider to get this Anda Seat Kaiser, the next factors to consider is whether your body is large enough for you to sit comfortably.
The seat depth is around 51cm ~ 53cm with lumber pillow, and 55cm without lumber pillow.
The seat thickness is 10cm, so the seat height measuring from the seat inclusive the seat padding is around 41 ~ 43cm.
Some people may find the seat is too depth or too high, if you found so, you may consider getting the Anda Seat Dark Wizard series.

Lastly, the neck pillow is one of its kind, and not everyone may like it. The neck pillow height is not adjustable and around 64cm measuring from the seat.

Therefore, it may or may not suitable for you. Best advice is to go and try the chair yourself, and compared to other gaming chairs.

Yes it's PVC leather. I unable to tell you whether it will flakes off after few years as I just used it for 1 month.
However what I can tell you is no matter what leather gaming chair you get, you need to maintain it similar to how you maintain the car leather chair.

There are few kinds of leather and I can't say this for everyone.
In my own perspective and experience, the Anda Seat Kaiser series does feel little warm but not hot for my case (if you asking how warm, I suppose warm like inactive Ogawa massage chair).
I think why it doesn't feel uncomfortable due to the seat is firm hence will not sink-in when you seat on it. That's why I don't feel it hot (as it didn't sink-in and surround my body.)

Yes, I do sweat sometimes, however only occasionally. My room temperature according to my hygrometer is around 29 ~ 32 C.

My advice is, if you worry that is would be uncomfortable. You could chek the SecretLab Softweaver, AK Racing Core Series EX, Nitro Concepts S300

Same like all other leather seat. Leather start peeling, unless you dedicated maintain it.

In my opinion, height isn't a problem, you could an adjustable headrest to fit your body height.
However depth is an issue, if your thigh too short, your backbone can't properly lay on the chair.

Dark Wizard model is smaller version of Anda Seat Kaiser. You can check their specs on website.
My advice is, try go to any local store that sell gaming chair and try all of them.
If you don't like to bother with quarterly maintain the leather seat with oil. Just get fabric chair.
Most of the cheap gaming chair seat is flat, you don't want the seat to be flat, but curved instead like your vehicle chair (so you thigh and buttock wouldn't slip to front when you rest your body on the chair)
Try lift the chair on local store, to check its weight. Most of the expensive chair are built in sturdy materials, which are heavy to lift.

Latest update.

Yes, after 2.5+ usage. The seat leather basically peeling very bad.
So I go custom-made upholstery seat cover using upholstery dual-mesh fabric + padding.
