Celcom 3G is now completely gone/non existent in my area.
I am sure that the network is still there at yesterday.
It can be deemed problematic as the device I am using for that SIM (unifi mobile) is not VoLTE ready, meaning 2G EDGE for calls and in areas with poor signal. Well it is not my main SIM so nevermind.

Maxis 3G has been shut down in my area (Johor Bahru)
This left Digi and U Mobile 3G still operational, but by 16 Dec Digi 3G will be gone too.
It is not yet known when U Mobile 3G will gone.

17 December - Only U Mobile has 3G now. The big 3 has shut down their 3G network. (Digi has shut down their 3G network yesterday on an unknown time).

The same case on my home in Johor Bahru. Not sure for areas outside my home. Which is weird as Maxis 3G was shut down some time earlier this month.

Well, you can made calls, send SMS and more while on WiFi calling mode (tested just now).

It is USSD services that will require 2G network to work.

Therefore, those who live in poor coverage area are advised to invest on a smartphone and use a network that supports VoWiFi (wifi calling) and also use an external antenna for 4G wireless broadband/ fiber internet rather than using illegal booster, which interferes cellular services.
