Malaysia Shut Down 3G Network By The End of TBA, Long life 2G

I noticed that lately Celcom (at least in my area) aggressively lit up Band 8 LTE on most of their towers here. At same time, it is noticeably harder for the phone to latch to Celcom's 3G band 8 even with manual band lock.
I set the phone to lock to band 8 3G only & most of the time the phone would connect to U Mobile's band 8 3G instead, not Celcom's.
Celcom's 3G B1 2100MHz still connects easily here.

Only U Mobile has 3G here in Kota Bharu (somewhere near Lotus's/Tesco) First two is 3G from Thailand (TrueMove H & AIS) Attached thumbnail(s)

Seems like 502 158 is (I think) more towards nationwide 2G roaming... I see mix of Celcom/Maxis/Digi frequencies in CellMapper
I also see complains from those three telcos (roaming on 502158)

still have u mobile & maxis 3G here at my home in kampung. maxis suddenly reactivate 3G here for some reason at some point in mid dec
nearby town still has 2 above plus celcom

Actually having headache why Celcom's 4G to 3G/2G handover (for making & reciving calls) is messy right now at my house since 3G shutdown thingy And our family's Celcom/yoodo SIM (left & right one in the picture below) for some reason won't connect to 2G... even if it did, it'll just go back to no service after few moments (Celcom's 2G signal is not that weak at our house, the Celcom/unifi/yoodo SIMs locked to 2G only for purpose of detecting 2G signal) Unifi 4G to Celcom's 2G handover works just fine  , even the unifi SIM sticks to Celcom's 2G just fine without any issue if I set it to 2G only And Yes, already reported to MCMC Note: In the picture below, the left phone has yoodo SIM on SIM2, middle one has unifi bebas SIM on SIM1, right one only has yoodo SIM.
