Getting Started

|
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/202...ng-and-shanghaiAnt Group, parent company for Alipay, is filing for an IPO in Shanghai and Hong Kong. How do I get access to this market through local brokers? Can ask the dealer/remiser for international ipo application? I uses Maybank broker. Thanks in advance.

Can contact your broker to subscribe for IPO. This one is surely going to be very competitive. The complete application document can be found here: https://www1.hkexnews.hk/app/appindex.htmlThe direct link (the application document is 674 pages long): https://www1.hkexnews.hk/app/sehk/2020/1024...20082500535.pdfThis post has been edited by TOS: Aug 25 2020, 11:18 PM

Which broker allow participation in HK IPO? It seems Interactive Brokers and Maybank can't do it.

With so much interest in this ipo, it will be priced at high end. Whether worth buying or not, only time can tell.

Have you noticed tencent & jd when they ipo'ed in hkex? After some time, prices dropped below their ipo price after the euphoria subsided. If you are patient, you could get them at better price when the opportunity comes ...

FYI, I am able to login the IBKR HK link which I have posted earlier with my IBKR login under TSG whitelabel.

Check out Yum China IPO on HKEX, it drops abit after debut....as mentioned above, there will always be opportunities to buy after IPO to save you the hassles of applying for IPO.

Does anyone know of any better deals?
