The shortest notice is two hours but scheduled to for pre-recorded video interview (for one of the Big4). The longest notice is two weeks to express their keen interest for a short call / video interview. This is during MCO. Anything longer than 2 weeks I will just ignore because they will probably come back with you’re not the candidate they are looking for and blah blah blah. I never apply chinaman company so I don’t know about the length of time you have to wait. DAPMPBAMCAuto and yellowpika liked this post

Depends on company and the people doing it.
Can be between 2 hours to 1 year later. Yes, I had experience company calling after 1 year. |

QUOTE(holypredator @ Apr 20 2023, 05:46 PM) When I applied it was for a role that I initially thought I wanted to try but didn't have that much experience in. 1.5 years later they actually found a better suited role for me instead which was why they gave the call and of course whether I wanted this new role. Which I said I would like to apply for it and then went through the whole interview process and got the job. |

So... it was a different role and not the role you initially applied for la...How did you apply for the role initially though??? through head hunter?? company website?? jobstreet?? I'm surprise they kept your resume in KIV bin for so long.... If you don't mind me asking... what industry are you in?? |

Yup, the role they hired me in was a much higher role over the role that I applied. How did you apply for the role initially though??? through head hunter?? company website?? jobstreet?? I'm surprise they kept your resume in KIV bin for so long.... If you don't mind me asking... what industry are you in?? I applied through the company's website where they list the roles and jobs there. They did of course asked me for an updated resume as they wanted to know what I was up to over the past 1.5 years as well. I am in the tech industry at the moment. Joined them when I was in banking. |
