Anyone tried the test? If pass can get free college education. But too bad I full time working got no time to join the lessons.

I passed the test thanks to my high iq altho I got zero coding experience. But have to go to the site to study, ibtot is online distance learning.

Anyway, I just helping out ppl who can't get scholarships etc. Sounds like good deal.

I attended 42 SF fremont for summer and passed for free accomodation. Dropped out due to im studying full time comp sci as well. Extremely good for logic solving leetcode style. They use C lang. it can be time consuming for some questions. I advise you at least do some C language coding and data structures and try again if not you will think this is really tough coming from no leetcode background

Which question time consuming? The pre admission question? Or the questions you get after admission

Cause I'm graduating from a California State University.
I joined 42 Fremont for summer 2019. Pass 3 months then get free accommodation continue every month for two years.
To maintain your status at 42 Fremont, you have to solve "questions" to fulfilled your quota every month. I can show your some photos of 42 Fremont

UC is not a "state" school.
State Cali is CSU more affordable.
Caltech is good but $$$

UCLA is not cali state ...
And Caltech is of course different level compared to the other two

Coding is actually a small part of your daily routine as a SWE.
Most companies already have huge code base and youre hired not to reinvent the wheel is to make the wheel smoother. Hence debugging refactoring comes into play with your problem solving skills. Of course you need to learn how to code before you can solve bugs. If you’re interested in creating applications , bootcamp is better than 42 honestly

HR dept will say this is wasting co. resources, and your knowledge gained is not useful around here

Plot twist....wanna learn coding is to escape the claws of predatory HR.

So won't tell HR and definitely won't use it at work since it won't be rewarded..

Since you are already in HR black book and constantly engaging in hostile manners towards HR, I say you need more than good luck to secure a good new job next year

You should check how miserable IT fellas wanna get a good job these days.

Market are saturated with these so called IT grads who , mostly have poor interpersonal skills

I just applied and doing the test now. I do have an interest in coding but I not sure because currently jobless, plus need to go there physically. so need money to go there and find place to stay also
