As topic, just get quoted on the price.

Adding 10 wall Conceal Power Point RM40 each
Adding 2 wall Conceal Aircond power point RM90 each (Not from DB but from nearest PowerPoint)
Adding 2 Fan point Rm60 each
Adding 1 ceiling light point RM60 each
Labour on install 2 water heater, 5 fan, 1 door bell and 15 light RM580
Labour lumsump wall hacking + Conceal it back without paint RM1000
Front door grill RM1200 normal paint size 351.5cm height X 110.0cm wide

All the light, fan, and water heater are bought for them to install... is that reasonable? Need some suggestion smile.gif

This sounds questionable. I am not electrician but I would pull new pair 2.5mm direct for AC point for my renovation works.

Edited. If the price is affordable then go for it. But question the quality not the price tbh.

This sounds like want to make profit , just want to do simple job. Pulling 20A point from nearest power point is dangerous. Aircond need more power supply and it might over load.

You price is considerably cheap, but looking at “pulling from nearest DB for Aircond”, I guess it would not be done according to code.

As someone who always go by the book, I would suggest you find someone more reliable.

It is normal for 13A socket loop to come with 32A CB. But it is meant for 13A socket only. ST guideline requires air conditioner wiring to be connected to 20A CB of its own.

ok, if lets say that socket change to 20A switch and use for aircond only is it safe? Cause that point we plan to only supply aircond.

Another thing to check is the wiring thickness. For air conditioner you should use 4.0mm. For typical 13A socket circuit, they would use 2.5mm thick wiring, but sometimes 4.0mm.

I guess if your wiring is 4.0mm, you should be able to convert it to dedicated air conditioner wiring.

But I am only guessing, I am not an electrical engineer nor a certified electrician. I am just giving opinion based on my experience reading standards.

Are you sure it is connected to a single socket? 4.0mm & 32A CB are normally used for multiple 13A socket.
