well it depends who works there... if some of the worker there like samseng they threat customer like their enemy.. i went there once with my gf to check out the place.. and found few of them squatting down smoking in front of the shop...
Skateline is a very good and helpful shop... but inline world worker is another story.. very bad..

for recreational/ hockey/ slalom skating best to find Skateline.
For Aggressive skates go for Cool Element in BB plaza...

if skateline have promotions it should be around 400-1200 a pair.. Try K2 or Rollerblade brand.. they are the most reliable brand in the market.
