Mind elaborating in what way is V spec a bad combination...? Putting in leather seats is a bad combination...?
*
think he is referring to the ugly rim, the white pearl upholstery, the leather seat etc....

well C segment above maybe
but generally B segment wont have L2 until maybe their facelift time

currently only x50 flagship come with it

honda city rs not fully L2  as lack of low speed follow

vios only have AEB and lane keep assist
almera have AEB only
maybe Perodua will surprise us with the D55L with L2 (if they bring the entire system from Rocky )
*
can drive 1 meh Perodua car ? their new myvi can see , but when u drive , argh , its so terrible ....and u got to remind urself its a 50k car only.

dont expect too much whistling.gif whistling.gif

Speaking of pedal locks, two concerns I have:

1. Does it make it hard to bigfoot like me to reach the pedals...? Like if I wear shoes size 11 and above makes it hard to optimally press the pedal because partial blockage of the device causes my foot to placed on the pedal offset lower. I know I had that problem last time with my XV40 Camry...

2. I read somewhere that in the event of a frontal collision there is a risk of knee injury...?
*
No .for 2 of ur questions . By the way , do u know how pedal lock works? U pull up to lock only ... and I'm size 12-13

Anyone here installed RFID tags on their City yet...? Where do you guys stick your tags...? Windscreen or headlamp...?

I find that the City headlamps a bit too upright for the tag to be read by the toll reader mounted high overhead on the booth - worried once installed on the headlamp the reader might not pick it up...
*
recommended to stick on windscreen . u might need to wax ur headlamp from time to time ( i.e every month) to keep the clearcoat in tact ...unless u dont mind ur headlamp bcome yellowish , then u can go ahead

yes im running out of patience... getting more and more inclined to just get the latest 1.5G vios and so be it

the City V spec is too kosong for me and RS is taking too long, and trying so hard to launch and give news only after SST exemption is ended
*
never like vios design. its simply ugly .lol.

Different ppl different priorities... Some ppl dun care about design and go all in with safety and features...

To me Vios seems underpowered, but I have to admit it's much more feature-loaded than City...

I'd wish the City has BSM and RCTA... the rest of Honda Sensing and Toyota Safety Sense is useless to my driving style though... sweat.gif

But to me City definitely wins on interior...
*
i donno whats RCTA , but for Blind Spot Monitoring , u can go Mr. DIY and get a small mirror to attach to the sidemirror ... LOL...

Therefore the darker the windscreen tint, the easier it will turn on the headlights.

Installed rear ARB 16mm, satisfied with it. Plug & play, exactly same bar as GM6. Not a racer, just wanna reduce body roll during tight corners. It does the job fine.
*
how much for that rear ARB?

i plan to get front ARB first ....

Guys, sincerely need your advise.
I am looking for a car to get my parents as their current car (Persona, 1.6 Auto) is pretty old and its wearing out.

Was keen in getting them a Honda City 1.5S. Now I am aware that the booth space in the Persona is much bigger though the interior of the city fits 4 adults appropriately.

Now, I have owned other car brands and have never had a Honda before.

Mind sharing / enlightening me of any issues with the new City ? How reliable is the car plus any common issues ? Moreover, within the same price range, do you recommend us to go for the city or look for other car's model.
Spoke to an SA but obviously the SA is inclined to give out good reviews of the car.

I owned a VW before and the DSG was a night mare!
Thanks in advance
*
if u ever consider Proton Persona in ur choice, u wont buy Honda City ...

the price range gap is so big...

and if u consider to buy 1.5S , just get Persona better.. 1.5S is so empty....

Well I do hope so. I had called Honda hotline last Monday and they told me that they are unable advise us on the launch date or the price for the time being.
*
they are not allowed to tell u and they are not the spokemen for it ...

only when HM announce officially ,then only Customer Care can tell customers.
