Can pm me the link to comment? thx

Oh i see on the brochure stated rm 4k tho the price of kit.

I think i take the E variant which is rm 84k otr price .

cant remember which link bro, I was casually browsing Facebook.
You can try to join this group and ask around

https://www.facebook.com/groups/413517642867989

The official price is RM4k, but my SA told me you can install it at dealer-authorized workshop, they are using the original body kits, but offering at much cheaper price ( RM2k++ ) only. And since it is dealer-authorized, you can have the warranty from the workshop too.

To me, I always prefer cash rebate than any free gift. After getting the car you can always find better and cheaper choices out there.
Try to deal with SA saying you don't want any free gift, but give you the best price possible.

Even with the Honda Sensing it also doesn't justify the same pricing as Civic 1.8.

Civic has way better handling and space and design.

Honda sensing (and all other ADAS out there) is actually good for show on paper and gimmick. No one would actually use the features in everyday driving (but if everyday you trigger the Lane Departure Warnings, then perhaps you need to retake your driving license).

good to have features but most will turn it off coz very annoying sound if you trigger it

Yes good to have, like the brake assist and lane keep, it can always be useful and even save lives when we are tired or not paying attention. My previous comment was a little bit too extreme.

But to me Civic 1.8 has the space (which you sit in everyday with your family and friends), the handling (which you hold the steering everyday) and the design and branding (which you will have more girls willing to jump into a Civic than a City). So Civic is a no brainer for me.

Also if you love the RS design, you can just get a City V and do RS kit upgrade for less than rm3k. Way cheaper than the RM20k gap there lol.

Of course just my personal opinion. No offense to anyone who is gonna buy City RS, thats your money, you can spend it whichever way that brings you the joy. Cheers

Normally, wrapping is expensive. You're referring to front grill only?
*
Yes, planning to wrap front grill and side mirror

Normally front grill, market price is around rm300. Sometimes you can get like 200-300. It's not easy task, needs good workmanship.
Enjoy hor... can drive around without worrying about the petrol consumption.  cool2.gif
How is the response from honda sensing.
Honda connect 1 year free subcription. Later on have to pay if not mistaken.

Come take picture. Censor your car plate of couse.

I see. I don't mind paying more for better quality but seeing a lot of variety of price range, I am not sure which one is the standard pricing out there tongue.gif

I think the negative camber is intended, else we wont see every GN2 is negative camber.

They sure have done some calculations to have those settings. I don't know if changing to 0 camber will cause any problem in future and they might not honor the warranty as you messed around with their default camber.

Heard the Headunit always freeze up, hang, restart

I never encounter that before, nor I see anyone in the Honda group complains about that.

Typical fake news spreaders will start with "HEARD". try again next time with evidence

Depending on the size of the 3 adults. This GN2 however is as spacious as Civic FB.

to be more specific, ketam is 5cm wider. So if u take into left and right proportion, it will be 2.5cm wider each side.
*
I think he referred to Civic Gen 9, a generation before Ketam. But it is true that City is now as close as C segment in term of space

Was the installation easy? Did you have to remove the bumper to install the horn?
*
super fast installation, done within 30minutes.

the technician just removed the plastic cover above the bumper grill, no need to remove the whole bumper.

Hi all, my insurance expiring soon. Wanna ask is it worth it take HiP?
The price difference between HiP and Etiqa is almost RM1k, damn that's a lot.

Also if I stop using HiP, can I continue with HiP in future? like after 4-5years?

for the 1st 4-5yrs of ur car , u can choose not to take HiP. this is becoz almost all insurance company will use new parts for car below 5 or 6yrs old....

after that , u will need to top up money based on ur car age.. example , if 7yrs old car , maybe top up 20% to use new parts , things like this...

u can opt for HiP any time , within 10yrs ...u can opt for HiP in 2021, then 2022 u take Maybank Etiqa , then 2023 HiP .. no problems on that.

i opt for others from yr2 onward till yr5 , then yr6 i opt back to HiP.... for new parts replacement if accident happens..

Anyone having issue with Android Auto?

I cleared the cache and storage of the app and now it no longer connects but other phones is still able to connect. I'm on Android 9 tho. I've tried a lot of things and none work so far. The only thing i haven't tried is factory reset the phone and upgrade to latest Android 11.

Edit: Found a temporary work around. Create a new user profile.

android auto is damn buggy. I used a brand new cable, sometimes picking up my phone will cause the android auto to disconnect ( I am using Samsung S20+).

Then I use my iphone for Apple Carplay, using the infamous Apple original cable that can spoil easily, I never have problem disconnecting while picking the phone. doh.gif

encounter that before, key was inside my pocket, and the key was near the rear right brake light, then it happened. Avoid staying too close to the area I mentioned then no problem.
