It's hard to describe my problem because it's kind of mysterious, but I hope with my description, I would be able to find some advice and answers here.

I have a open wardrobe, which means well, it's open, bought it from IKEA, so I hang my clothes on a hanger and just leave it there, and over the months I've noticed some kind of very small tiny yellow dots on my clothing, apparently it'll appear on some clothing not all, and on very small part of the clothing.

It's made up of a few yellow small dots, and when you wipe it off with hands and/or a damp cloth, it'll turn into stains, but it can be wipe out very easily without much effort. So, I'm wondering what could this be ? Please refer to picture below

Is there a way to prevent it from laying eggs or happening again ?

Strange, I don't have any clothes that have wool content, it's all either polyester or cotton, my hanger is the wood type hanger from IKEA. I don't see how moth eggs would appear, any way to prevent it tho ?

Yup, i did some googling, and found out that alternative for mothballs would be putting lavender sachet, as the lavender scent would keep them away, would this work for open wardrobe ?

Wahh jialat like that. My windows is closed 24/7 though, only my door is open in the day time, my mum suggested that I use something else, similar to the lavender sachet, let's see if that'll works. if not have to figure out a way to add a "door" for my open wardrobe.

Btw bro, how can i be sure 100% that this is indeed moth eggs or anything related to moth insects ? Because I was googling and the first sign is damaged clothes, having a hole etc, but none of my mine have any signs of those.

I see, ok then will proceed to get lavender sachets and see if it'll works. If I do get lavender sachets, would my clothing all smell like lavender as well ?

Any idea how many sachets would u say in general for it to be effective ? To ur question, I don't think i've seen such thing before in my room, or house, but I do see some kind of err..like those cocoons ? Very small size sticking on the walls.
