Hi guys, I just changed my phone and the new Android 10 comes with Android Auto built in. On the first day the AA GPS is working fine but on the second day onwards it started to have issues connecting to GPS accurately. Its constantly searching and I've missed turns thanks to this. I checked my battery saving mode and switched it off but its still not working properly. Does anyone know a fix to this?

Where did you put the phone? Depending on the model of the car, there are certain spot will be affected by Faraday cage effect, that is your phone wont get any mobile and gps signal. Try shifting the phone around.

From experience on a particular CRV (don't remember which version, the area above the thighs to chest area suffers from such effect. No signal at all when the phone is there.

LOL, initially I thought it was your ICE-Headunit.

Android-Auto on phone,, i have not tried it, did you try waze at the same, and any interruption there? else, it might be the current version is not compatible

do you mean switching on Waze while plugged in to the headunit? Yes, I did that too...no interruptions.
