Recently, my laptop was stolen in college (The One Academy) . It is a ACER FERRARI 4000, i personally believe that not many people out there has this laptop and it is very rare to bump into another person using the same model, so far I never seen anyoe using it for the past one and a half years.

I'm not sure whether he or she will sell the laptop or use it personally. But if somebody is selling the Acer Ferrari 4000 (15.4 inch model) or getting it reformatted in your shop (because they dont hold the original CD) or upgrading the laptop itself... without the reciept and original bluetooth mouse. Please call me, or drop me a SMS if you cant contact me as soon as possible. RM500 ringgit cash will be rewarded if you manage to keep the laptop, i dont care really care if the stealer isn't caught.

I already made a police report yesterday and contact Acer center.

Well, I suspected one group and we talked to him with the faculty yesterday. I dont think he gets the message that I said I would pay him rm500 if he return or if he let me know who took it.

Yes, I already informed the faculty department. They printed memo around the whole college. But the memo isnt obvious, I think I should do the memo myself.

does anyone know where I can hire people to trace or bar the laptop system? Is it possible?

Ofcourse they wont. But i'm hoping the laptop wpuld spoil, and the RAm is just 512MB, and its outdated ram, not DDR2. So i'm pretty confident that one day it'll be sent back to acer, maybe in 1-2 years. Then if I found out, i'll sue that person.

It isn't because I just lost 6k, but the sentimental value to it.

How to do that? Even if we set up a bait at the same day and same time. It might had been a different person, or maybe if it was that guy, i dont think he would admit that he had took it. And he will only be charged for the current theft.
