If I am not mistaken, they keep record until 10 years from the date of your last appointment

Yup, they have it in their databases if you have visited government clinics or hospitals before.

Are all the medical records from every government hospital linked? Eg. A dr in government hospital A can view the patient’s record from hospital B when the patient seek consultation at hospital A

MOH guideline is generally to keep for minimum 7 years.

Nope. Each hospital have different filing or record keeping system. Big hospital might use electronic records, but district hospital will use physical record.

Sad to know that even up to this year 2020 some hospitals still rely on physical record
