Hey guys, I am looking for advice to build a gaming desktop with budget around RM4.5k (excluding monitor and peripherals).
I would like to know which brand is good for each component (eg. processor and GPU). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The board isn't really that good considering the price - it's basically the ATX version of the B550M Pro4. You can get a better board like the B550M Steel Legend (with better VRMs) for about the same price:
https://www.lazada.com.my/products/asrock-b...MJ6MNt&search=1

If you still want ATX and can pay the slight premium, MSI's B550A-Pro/Gaming Plus are a good choice:
https://shopee.com.my/MSI-B550-GAMING-PLUS-...9688.5341329853 (Gaming Plus)

The B550A-Pro is about the same price as the Gaming Plus too (from Idealtech) icon_idea.gif

There's no need for an aftermarket cooler like the Mugen 5... just use a stock one, or get a cheap one like the Deepcool Gammaxx 400 instead icon_idea.gif

Case looks alright as well hmm.gif

Put the savings towards a Sapphire RX5700 Pulse for RM1699 from Viewnet, which is quite a bit faster than the 2060 (in fact you can make it even faster by just flashing a XT BIOS on it) icon_idea.gif

Since you are using existing monitor. Gaming at what resolution does affect components choice for smooth gameplay experience.

What is your existing monitor resolution 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 @60hz or 144Hz?
