HMD Global announced that Qualcomm and Google had invested big in the new home of Nokia phones. The total pool of investment is $230 million and the company didn't disclose all of the investors but it does give us a good idea of how Nokia brand will develop in the future.

According to HMD Global, the fresh $230 million injection will accelerate its 5G growth by introducing more 5G-enabled phones and also help them reach more markets across the globe. And besides, with all the fuss around the US government's ban on Huawei, Google is looking to propel a new smartphone maker into the top smartphone OEMs.

With HMD Global keeping some of its staff, including its datacenter in Finland, it's clear that the European smartphone company is less likely to get in the crossfire between the US and China trade war, so it seems like a safe bet.

Nokia will be strong again lulz.

They just need to provide similar offering but with more refinement in the OS, there’s buyers whom wouldn’t mind to pay a little extra for a better OS experience.

I don't think this will work. High end chipset only for gamer. If for average user they hardly need it that much power. If China can produce mid-range western chipset equivalent it will be enough.

They can kill china phone if they ban all top 10 apps from china phone like ban FB, WhatsApp, Instagram, tiktok, YouTube, Twitter, etc then only people will stop buy china phone

- unbreakable. so no need pathetic casing. phone these days.. casing is like insurance for them.
- battery adequate of min 6000mah
- no need 120hz. just stick to max 90 hz.
- atleast flagship cpu ( how the hell poco did it? ) then do it!
- maintain clean android.
- at least one snake game. the retro ones not the bullshit new one.
- no need wireless capability. uselss shit.
- USBC port with fookin Jack.
- declare max 400-500USD.


if non of the above are met, then US can dream on.
