Me and my wife interested in a house in Selangor, already checked it’s medium cost leasehold. Loan will be using my wife name, she have help her bro purchased a property few years back, but have transfer back the name to her bro. So basically no house under her name in Selangor now. As I know only low cost at Selangor is for first time buyer. But now the agent told us that during PH era they add in new rules for Selangor property buyer but not sure the act already implemented or not even check with lawyer also not sure. (Husband and wife does not own property in Selangor) meaning is currently does not own or never own before? So if we proceed to purchased there will be 50-50 % only. Lawyer said have to wait after sign and submit snp to land office only can know the result. If reject we still need to pay part of the snp charges for the lawyer. Anyone know or encounter this before? I attached the rules sent by the agent.
