Hi there..
I have an old Redmi Note 3 that fell down onto the hard flood and won't turn on. Been keeping it for 2 years because I want to salvage the photos and some files in it. Took it to a shop for repairs but was told that they were unable to do it due to the lack of spare part. I am living in Southern Thailand now, btw. That technician told me that the charging port is broken and i need to replace the chip and the port. I sent the phone to my dad who is in KL but my dad said he was too busy to help me fix it.
Can the phone still be fixed? I understand that it may have become obsolete but I am still hoping that I can salvage all the pics. I was stupid enough not to do any backup on the photos or store them in my laptop now it's too late I've learnt my lesson.
The phone in question is a Redmi note 3 KATE purchased from diredtD.
Is there anyone here that know who/how to fix it?
Thanks!
P.s./ not even sure if it was the charging port problem. The phone fell down and immediately went blank. Dead on the spot.
