Hi all,
just tinted my City with ECO-TINT Raybarrier today.. nice service frm Amuroray, explained to me all alot of stuff i needed to know abt tinting b4 i made my decision.. although he couldnt come to the cheras branch, he made sure the branch staff were prepared for my arrival.. also, the installation quality is very good, no apparent bubbles or bad workmanship.. Recommended!  thanks bro! cheers! |

No combination between different brand package/product because whatever tinted brand will only responsible on saman issue for those car install full package from their own product.For example,a car kena saman because of tinted,but this car mixed different brand product.....so which company should responsible for this....?
That's why most of the branded film in market do cover saman issue for their own product/package but the terms & condition is : (1) No mixed tint with others brand product (2) No additional layer on existing film (3) Saman issue are not covered for those car using privacy glass,cromax....etc (4) Non-transfer warranty.Not valid if the car are sold/transfer owner.(Only Ecotint Ray Barrier full car installation comes with 10 year transfer warranty) All others enquiry are reply in PM,thanks |

I am going to tint my Honda City once I get it. Please do recommend me on the appropriate package. Have really no idea towards the tinting stuff. Previously driving a CLK without any glass treatment. LOL. My younger bro is also getting a new Honda City, we will tint two cars together. got my RayBarrier installed today at the Cheras branch thru bro Ong...
staff there really good, showed demo...made sure u understand the difference between diff series.. plus the security film demo video...good presentation.. and they did the job well with very good workmanship ... now gotta keep fingers from itchy ... no power window/demister for about 1 week...let the tint cure n dry properly... guys, give bro Ong a call ... faster to make appointment n u wont regret wan thanks bro Ong...free bump for you! |

V-kool elite or ecotint ray barrier for my myvi se?

Hey ppl,
Sorry for the super late reply. Got my car (altis) tinted on the 16th of Jan. Superb service from Ong's staff although i did not lias with Ong face to face. Went to the Subang branch. Really good workmanship too. Now waiting for my warranty card only. There were bubbles on the window but after a couple of days, the glue dried and now it looks just great. The tint works well, a lot of diff in when i drive in the afternoon sun. Would recommend Ong to the rest of the forumer. TWO THUMBS UP!!! keep up the good work. Got my car tinted at Cheras Branch on 31 January. It was an early morning & seems everyone just woke up, the boss even open the door for me ( i misstook the glass door was push & pull actually its a slide door....) a little cold while waiting inside the tint work shop. Clean & tidy environment. Nice job & fast. Almost 2 & half hours, really patient works. Will call back to Ong if any problems found, thanks ya. got the tint done today... good explaination by chong... and nice & clean work place... there are some bubbles but it'll clear soon hopefully...
i tint with the indulgence series 82% IRR... which is very good... however, the drawback was the std front tint 60% IRR... once u have a good tint, u can compare the difference... kinda regret.. should have added a little xtra for the ray barrier front windscreen upgrade... the price is defitnately worth it... conclusion, good tint. but if got a little xtra cash, pls upgrade to IR series or at least front windscreen change to ray barrier... definately worth it... cheers!! |

Is a tim to try out ecotint RB series, from what i observe for a month after tinted, i can say it is pair with my other car where is vkool elite.!!
And services of bro Ong, I will say great no doubt!! Very helpfull. I was tinted at cheras branch, the enviroment is good and full cover by aircond. Free bump for you. The installer there mr Ah Pow who was waiting for me is very skillful lah (nice VIOS he got there btw hehe.. ). Say thanks to him ya. Just done my tint on last sat, everything looks good. There are some bubble on that day, after "baked" for 1 day+, seems like no more bubble.
Overall is good and nice. Waiting for my warranty card now. |

Tinted my car yesterday at one of the branch .. I go for full car RayBarrier (except for sunroof) .. so far so good .. now 'baking' my car under hot sun as advised by Mr AmuroRay.
Firstly, after fill in a form, the installer check my car for any defect before they can accept it (to avoid any problem with customer later)... the installer rounding the car like 4 to 5 times, check power windows, bumper, door, even to my sport rim and tyre ... wahh .. Then he drive the car to the installing room and it takes 2 and half hour to complete the tinting. Nice job. No need to dismantle the door panel. My dashboard/seat/door panel is well covered before any liquid sprayed to the glass. The waiting room also nice .. got a lot of magazine .. but no Astro or wifi .. After the tint completed, they drive out my car and call another staff to check the tint (Miss June). I'm satisfied and they present me with the bill/receipt amounting the real price which is more than 2k ... wahhh .. i really save a lot la .. thanks to Mr AmuroRay. He quote me a wonderful price ... Just had my car tinted last Saturday thanks to Ong.
Was greeted by one of the salesgirls who did a brief explanation of the process (since I already know what I wanted - took the indulgence package + Ray Barrier windscreen upgrade). For newbies, you can actually test out the different types of tints they have there via a little "light bulb test". Try it... you'll feel the difference, especially with Ray Barrier. The tinting took about 2-3 hours. A group of five or six technicians went to work measuring the films and cleaning the windows/windscreens. From the waiting room, you get to watch the work being done. If nature calls, there's a nice bathroom beside the waiting room. If watching them work is not your thing, there are lotsa magazines to read. Thirsty? Go get a glass of water at the water dispenser. Bored of waiting after a while? Do what I did. I headed to the nearby mamak shop and had a cuppa tea with my friend. By the time we got back, they were already done. Don't get shocked when you see the watermarks. They're normal as they'll dry up after some "baking" under the sun. The salesgirl told me not to wind down the window or use the heating elements at the back until the film had completely dried up in three days. They paste these little stickers on your window winder to remind you not to use them for at least 60 hours. She then asked me to just call her if there's any problems. Once I got home, Ong SMS-ed me to remind me what the salesgirl had told me. Only instead of three days, Ong said to "bake" for a week. I guess no harm baking it a little longer. "Baking" my car has been a little tricky these days though due to the showers we're experiencing here in KL. But all in all, I'd say I'm quite satisfied with the tint. There is a difference with the tint on. It's not as freaking hot as it was before without the tint if I leave my car under the sun. However, since I took the Indulgence package, I'd think that the heat deflecting effect would be greater if I had gotten the full Ray Barrier package. Those of you are up to it, go for Ray Barrier. Hi there
Got my car tinted with the Intense series thanks to Amuroray. He arranged everything from price to appointment to after sales service immediately after installation. The shop was nice and clean with a good lounge with Astro to kill time. The service is good and the car kept clean by having a seat cover to protect the seats from dirt. Just tinted my car yesterday and so far it has turned out great.. some watermarks and bubbles ofcourse explained why and should be gone within a week. Ong managed to handle it with a great discount on my Raybarrier set + 4 mil security tints on 4 sides. Definately a thumbs up for his service and will recommend anyone I know to do windows tints with him.

juz get my Ray Barrier with safe tint today...
even i still feel some heat inside my car but i guess so this is the best tint (total solar reject 60%)..cause no film can 100% cut off heat from the sun... installation juz take less than 2 hours only...fast and efficiency.... thumbs up for u dude..... |

Tinted RB on Myvi few weeks ago, but i'm not sure if its just me or what, somehow i feel that the RB isn't performing as what is stated in its specs.
Comparing with the Aircool film i did on my waja 5 years ago, the aircool seems to perform better although its specs is slightly lower than the RB. I'm not sure if i should compare two different tint on two different capacity car. Maybe waja's air cond is better than Myvi, so the cooler feel in waja. |

ecotint is quite gd...but not so pro...
fews day later i saw 4 of my windows including the small rear windows tinted not nice, i go back and let them check than they terus change all the film... and somemore they make my rear seat wet of soap water.... i ask them try to make it dry, they make it but my set become dirty cause they use a dirty cloth.... to me...thier service is not too bad but i'm not so happy cause of my seat... Tint my kancil with charcoal full car, Heat greatly reduced, even if sun direct at drive side dont have the burning sensation anymore, no need sunshade anymore..Dont regret every $$$ and thanks to AmuroRay can save $$$ also 2. I already install ray barrier full package almost 1 month ago, the quality of the tint is superb on my Vios but the workmanship for cheras branch a bit not so pro coz after 2nd time re-tint still.... already almost 1 month pass, i still not yet receive my warranty card when could I get it?

I've tinted my Swift at AmuroRay's place!
 This time, I was getting the Intense series (Silver Color) + with Ray Barrier for the front The service and installation was excellent! As I was going back to home, I straight away can feel the different!  Really satisfied! But sigh...I should have tinted my Neo with Ray Barrier too last year.. I'm sure I will come back again for that  Thanks neway |

indulgence gold + 4 mil security + upgrade ray barrier front w/screen conclusions: 1) Good service from mr. ong (remind me on the appoinment day n inform me on how to handle the curing process)... 2) Good n friendly service from Ah Po (person in charge at the branch)... 3) The product is considered good also... I got my car tinted in Cheras today with Ray Barrier for FWS and Indulgence series for the rest. Im really happy with the workmanship. The guy tht tinted my car did a proper job although there are some small bubles on the FWS. Hopefully it disappears after baking it the my car under the sun for a few days. The car was done in less thn 3 hours. On the way bck, i was supprised that i could barely feel any heat from the sun. Huhuhu... I would recommend anyone to get their car tinted with ecotint. Thnks AmuroRay!

I purchased my window tints from him about 4 months ago and texted him today to check for warranty card issues and some issues I have with the glass mounted antenna in my car. He called back instantly referring to me by name and car I drove and answered my queries right away. Thumbs up to his service guys. If I have any friends/family looking for window tints, I will definately recommend you again bro. |

Second day water mark gone. Tested on hot sun for few days. Compare to VKool that i use previous car. I can't feel the difference. Performance almost the same. Recommend to try Ecotint. Good workmanship and fast service. Responsible service |

I got mine roughly 1-2 months after i got my car tinted. But then, not much of a worry because i still had the receipt with me. So if no card, then can use the receipt.
What I understood at that time was that the cards were printed out in batches. So it might take some time to get it. Hi, I got my Grand Livina tinted with ecotint ray barrier film about a month ago with this member. Very good service.. recommended seller... and the product is superb.. No complain so far..

Just got my car tinted at Ong's shop this morning... Installer was waiting for me when i arrived at the shop.. Great service and very informative installer. Now have to wait for the film to 'bake' in.. Overall good service and highly recommended... |

I've put on the Indulgence Series to my car today from Mr Ong and the most noticeable is for the front window (not the ray barrier series) and i can tell you that it's half the heat generated compared to the standard proton safetint wow, but still got heat la...So i believe the side panel window and the back panel should perform better than the front windshield. I've tested the ray barrier and it's like no heat at all. Still, cannot afford but i'm still soo SATISFIED!!! now need to wait for 3 days to a week befor putting down my window.

i have installed my ecotint ray barrier on friday last week at cheras. met ah po at 10.30 am and he already waiting for me. called ong and tell him i already arrived. ah po explained to me about ecotint and i tried test using the spotlight and was impressed. so decide to install for the whole car (grand livina impul) with the price we agreed. i left my car and picked it up at 4 pm after received call from ah po. he told not to open the window for 3 days to make sure the tint is perfectly baked. Now already 3 days and what can i say, ecotint is the best alternative other than vkool. i used vkool before at my waja and i know the comparison. i really recommended to others to use ecotint and the service provided by ong and ah po is definitely a 5 stars service. now, waiting the tint to be fully baked and also the warranty card.

Hi Bro,
Just want to say well job done on my car last Friday. Service and skills top marks. RB+Indulgence combi with that price is reasonable and extremely good value. Had my doubts when I saw some bubbles but you advice to keep baking the car and the bubble will go away. But after 2 days in the sun, all bubbles almost completely gone. Good advice there. All in all, I am totally happy with the job and reco anyone who are considering to go for it with Bro Ong. 2 thumbs up Bro. |

how to know the ecotint, i tinted is fake or real one? Even if u tinted from authorised shop. I mean the guy in the shop may js simply giv u any china tint and say is ray barrier. but the moment u step out of the shop, the shop can claim u redo ur tint at another shop.

i just got my gf's honda City tinted with Ray Barrier today in his cheras outlet.
i like his price although i didnt look up for another ecotint dealer as i know it is the best price. it is my second car for Ray Barrier since my RX350 Lexus. it is cooling~ |

I went for the Ray Barrier at the USJ 9 Taipan Ecotint Shoppe last Friday (26th June), the Sales Assistant, Ms. June is chatty, helpful and her level of personal service is amazing. I am very happy with the results of the tinting.
(4) Ecotint Raybarrier (all windows) - RM1500 (Ecotint shop) - 10 years warranty - good specs, good price. - if you want the 4 mil security film, it's additional RM100 per window (4 windows so it's RM400), they will stick it first, then the ray barrier film goes on. first, there was a pre-check to determine if there's any problems with your car before they do the job. And when the job is being done, there's a viewing gallery of them working on the car. You can sit there and view all the sifus at work. At the end, they drove my car out front and didn't let me leave yet, 10 minutes to let the film settle in and Ms. June helped me to check around again for bubbles. Her trained eye was a lot better than mine and picked up some loose film, some bubbles and immediate told her guys to rework it on the spot. Total installation time ~ 3 hours.After installation don't on your demister, don't roll down your windows for 60 hours and also don't clean the interior of your car window for 60 hours also. The installation went without a hitch, though at the end there were some bubbles when my car was pronounced finished but they assured me after baking in the sun for about 3 days, the bubbles would go away. Sure enough they did. I'd recommend everyone here to go for Ecotint's Ray Barrier, because of the extended warranty, no nonsense service and did I mention the heat shielding is amazing? I drive around at noon time with aircon at level 1 fan set at the lowest cool setting. How amazing is that? The price is right, the product is good, what more can you ask? Oh can pay with Credit Card too, haha! Best of all...! I was lucky enough to be served by Mr. Tan the boss of Ecotint as well, he saw me waiting and then asked me if I wanted something to drink, he immediately sold me on some air limau kasturi from the restaurant opposite and brought the drink to me, he said it's on him. I was blown away... a bit later as I didn't know he was the top guy at Ecotint. so do give them a call, Ecotint Shoppe 38-1, Jalan USJ 9/5Q, UEP Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya Selangor 47620 Malaysia Tel : 03-8023-1612 ask for Ms. June If you want a more relaxed environment ASTRO etc while you wait, you can go to their other branch in Sri Hartamas. Well, if you don't know what tinting will do for your car, take the demo... you'll be impressed! Alex - no i don't get commission - i'm just so pleased I have to tell the whole world. |

Get my kangoo tint ray barrier few days back.Very effective tint,my car got 2 extra 'big' window on 3rd row still very comfortable.Satisfy with everything and keep up your good work bro Ong !

Indulgence Series Gold (VLT=60% UVR=99% IRR=82%) NORMAL RM 880 NOW RM Call (Normal Saloon). can i upgrade to safety film? how much? is it approved by jpj if i put the second layer which is safety film? FYI i've just tinted my car last month. and now hoave some bubbles at certain place. can i request for warranty by that? thx |

hey..now my car is tinted but one of the side window do have bubbles...so is it possible to remove the old ones and how much is the side window pricing...looking forward to tint the 4 side windows....and my current tinting is slight greenish.....so which 1 is best match with the front and rear windscreen since im only want to replace the 4 side windows only....proton persona...thanks..

My car is a Kia Forte. 1) Impeccable Series - Ray Barrier 2) Impeccable Series - Ray Barrier with Security Film (four side windows only) 3) Ecotint New Infrared Series Here are some questions. 1) What is the colour of Ray Barrier? page 1 did not indicate the colour, I assume its clear? 2) The New Infrared Series, a) I assume this new series is a combination of security film? b) What is the 'Total Solar Energy Rejected'? c) All windows (including rear and windscreen) is with 4mil security protection? 3) Will tinting the car effect auto headlight feature in car? any experience in this? (auto headlight = car will automatically activate headlight when detect darkness; the sensor is located in the car, just in-front of windscreen) 4) Could you recommend me any of your tinting shop near Cheras. anyone try with the infrared series? good? my fren said rite, infrared film is that kind of film which absorb heat...inside the car will feel cool but the windscreen will get very very hot as it filter out the heat with absorption and not reflection. is it true?

I just tinted my car with Indulgence Series
I tinted silver color on my black car, the result is supreme! Looks shiny and preserves the natural color of your windows glass. Very satisfy with the service of Ecotint. Thanks to AmuroRay! |
