If the mileage is your main concern, Michelin is great to go. Just to share my experience with you with my Michelin experience, though im not using the same size n model as u mentioned.
My tyre size 235/60R18, Michelin Primacy ST3. Total clock around 80+k-ish km with 2-3 weeks check tyre pressure and 10+k to 20k-ish km tyre rotation. - no tyre chip so far as you can see in XM2 or Pilot Sport 3 or 4.
Due to this size is not standard size and it is a little bit taller, in term of tyre noise, it manage a great one. Stability
and water planning is not that great.
Overall, if my rear tyre did not "eat" inner side, i think the Michelin can go around 100+k km easily. I still have 2 more pcs in the front. And recently just changed to Yoko BluEarth-XT AE61 for rear with standard size 235/55R18. No comment on it so far.
Verdict, if money is not an issue, go for Michelin. Though it is more expensive than competitor but it really last longer. Oh ya, last time im using XM2 for other car, 4 pcs tyre clock around 110-120k km with the same maintenance mentioned as above.
Thanks for sharing..
Yeah, im looking into getting michelin to replace my current tyres, merely 30k km, with side tread left maybe 5mm.. Continent brand.. Unsure if should just keep it running till reach the marking, or change tyres directly..
Pirimacy 4 for SUV kinda new for market, but no review.. Worry it is as not as good as old model primacy suv..
