Hi sifu, My m.2 not able to detect on first boot. What I have to do is to boot up my machine, then shut down and power back on for the m.2 to appear.
I have updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest version already and updated all the drivers to latest version. My m.2 is actually not faulty when tested. I am not sure what is the problem.
Can anyone guide me how to fix so it appears in first boot? Thanks!

Some SSD not fully match with some board, same thing with laptop. Some model SK Hynix SSD not fully compatible with Dell ultrabook, need 2/3 times reboot. Still running but sometimes will hang in Windows. My advice try with other brand/model.

Has it always been like that or just recently? Also, state the brand and model of the SSD & motherboard

My BIOS detects the nvme but not my 2.5" SSD anymore and my OS is in the 2.5" drive. QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 6 2020, 08:27 AM) Has it always been like that or just recently? Also, state the brand and model of the SSD & motherboard I recently added it in. Now purchased new nvme and plugged in and it doesnt detect my 2.5 SSD anymore. Current new nvme SSD is crucial P1 nvme m.2 ssd and motherboard is Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 3
