I'm surprised seller in shopee claimed that their lightning cable is genuine and they are able to sell at 1/3 or the original cable price. Anyone tired these cables before? Wanted to purchase one but I don't want to have compatibility issue like most of the fake cables. The price is too tempting to pass if it is really original cable. If it's a fake one I wouldn't waste my time and will just proceed to get one from Apple.

just get one from apple itself , peace of mind .. if shopee i would rather buy 3rd party brand like remax instead of so called genuine cable

Tried remax and some other brand as well, after some time it will have compatibility issue, doesn't want to charge etc. Genuine cable doesn't have such issue however it doesn't last long. If only they make a better cable with tougher external insulation

Those are not original. It can be use but surely there will come a time you get those compatibility issue. Some can use it for months, so they do not care just buy another cheap one.
If you do not plan to go for Apple original, make sure you buy those MFI certified cable.

1 more question, is the cable compatibility related to iOS? say you're getting MFI certified cable now, and it will not work once you update the phone to iOS14.

I've been using the cable (first link) extensively, never fail on me once even with the latest iOS version. Packaging and the overall quality looks real to me.

Can you see 15cm from the USB port, is there any grey printed wording at the cable? it says "Designed by Apple... with the serial number" I think this is the only way to determine real and fake cable, well that's how Apple store check if the cable is real from my experience.

get better ones from Anker. They have a official account on shopee. Trusted brand and mfi-certified. I have it, using it, and absolutely no problem with it. TBH, I think theirs are even better than Apple's ori.
