What's your current phone? Oneplus 8 Pro, Huawei P40 series or considering how crazy prices are getting for Android phones can even think about fruit phone

I was on the Note 9 before changing to s20 ultra. I'd say if you are tied into Samsung can try the S20 series with SD chips. Not really sure how the Huawei phones work, might need to sideload Google apps but shouldn't be too complicated. Still plenty of Huawei users.

If 3899 with QHD screen can somehow still digest but 60hz 1080p panel really cannot brain. They did it last year with note 10 but to do it again this year + downgrade the build some more its a downgrade even if coming from note 9 which is a 2 year old phone!

If apple comes out with an iPhone that has 120hz display then might really consider making the jump next year.

If you can get either one for 3k+ then go for the Note 20U. Laser AF would have at least solved the auto focus problems plaguing the s20u. Battery life wise probably the same, both using same chip but note 20u smaller battery size with adaptive screen refresh.
Doubtful that any optimisation done to the chip itself
Anyways full reviews of the phones will only be out in a week or two depending on when the NDA expires. Or only after launch. Unless the preorder really excites you, just wait a bit before pulling the trigger. Still got roadshow offers. And even after preorder period when there's leftover stocks they'll still bundle the buds together. Same thing happened with s20 launch.

Saw some early review of the camera. Much better than s20u especially with the laser af helping out with focusing now really regret pull trigger on s20u.
Quite tempted to make the switch as my only complaint on the s20u is the focusing speed and sometimes its a bit off too.
Will definitely be holding out for the SD version this time round. Doubt SME will bring in that version by themselves though.
Watch some early hands on review by UK YouTubers all warning against the exynos

Probably drop by at least 1k in next few months. Now can get s20u sd for rm3699 already from shopee

You can use Samsung pay just don't have the points collection which frankly isn't that great anymore.

Watched the review of Techchap from UK on exynos version. 20% difference in battery life and performance compared to SD version

Samsung only gave them the ultra to review first.

Still got small part was hoping Samsung did some magic for the exynos to catch up. Was actually considering to upgrade from s20u if it happened looks like gonna wait and see if sd version comes along at a good price.

I pulled the trigger on this was a toss up between iphone and note 20 ultra. But the iphone 12 pro max review quite disappointing especially the camera seems not much difference.

Pay for screen warranty and use naked break the screen before warranty ends

So what did the sc do to repair it? MOBO replaced? Or screen problem?

Samsung phones actually memang known for having mobo problem etc. Used since s7 edge. But the warranty claim is probably one of the most painless imo.

Just received my Note 20 Ultra mystic black today RM3899 from WOWPhone during 11/11 lazada sales. Initially thought no free gifts as it was not mentioned included anything but surprisingly came with the UV Steriliser wireless charger too.

Don't have separate wireless charger, just the uv steriliser which doubles as a wireless charger too. I wasn't expecting any free gifts so it was a pleasant surprise although doubt I'd be using it might just bundle it together when i sell off my s20U

Been using the phone naked without any casing so unsafe. No choice as i sent my UAG case back to claim as one of the sides not symmetrical wouldn't have mind if it was some cheapo case but UAG rm100+.

Been using the phone for 3 weeks now. Exynos version.
If on 4g LTE, screen 120hz I'm getting around 4 1/2 hours of SOT.
If on wifi only then 5 1/2 to 6 hours for me

Spigen thin fit is a pretty good case. Thin but enough protection.
