True except cameras.
Extremely powerful algorithm to remove camera shake and video noise during the shot instead of after the shot, depends on powerful cpu gpu and it's optimization.
Try any mid range and see whether they can stabilise 4k well
It is immediately apparent
Even desktop grade cpu gpu have difficulty with Adobe premiere warp stabilizer after the shot.
Truth but also the world situation was like...
2010 begin they tried to combine everything together in 1 device as an main device,
people don't bring camera for video or photo shooting more,
people don't bring mp3 player or book for time killing purpose,
people don't bring laptop for social media surfing...
but when they combined everything in 1 great device, people starting getting more device to separate the phone's job...
go pro for videography
good camera for photoshooting
expensive MP3 player for better sound
kindle for e-books
laptop for facebook social media posting
*which i got a friend use mac book pro just for Facebook/IG
once i realize too many device around for all that task,
i stopped myself for buying more weird thing around...
end up 1 gaming laptop and 1 phone and 1 camera,
satisfied

My issue with the Exynos is not about performance, as you said it's more than adequate to get the job done day in and say out. My problem with it is signal strength and idle battery drain, in particular with the last Samsung flagship I owned which was the Note 10+.
honestly i never tried SD device,
but i will get 1 and try soon...
from my past note 2,4,7,fe,9,s10+
i know i need disable many apps,
do many trick and even buy those samsung disable background apps to maximize standby time.
but end up best result were 1 hours 1.5% drain with my note 9
*without tweak & apps disabling up to 3~5% per hours*
most of my time sticked with wifi, so barely with signal issue.
