Hi
I am looking for a 144hz monitor 1080p max size 24" with a budget of RM 900
I have read a lot of websites and a lot of reviews and I still cant figure out which model or even type of panel.
I play mainly FPS games (Counterstrike / Valorant) but only casually so I don't need some insane 0.001ms refresh rate. But at the same time, I want the best for my money - so I am leading towards IPS as good colours and good refresh rate?
Does anyone have any recommendations? I am currently looking at Asus VG249Q which is 1ms, 1080p and IPS panel. Is this the best my money can buy?

Yup, and most advertised monitor response rates like '1ms' are fake anyway (even the fastest non OLED displays like the Samsung Odyssey G7 barely reaches under 3ms) Also consider the AOC 24G2 if you can (uses the same panel as the ASUS)

Thanks, I did look at that but it's a bit more expensive and I couldn't see any more benefits?
Has anyone tried Asus VP249QGR? It's a lot cheaper, RM675 and only difference seems to be the stand isn't adjustable

The Asus VP249Q/QGR/AOC 24G2/XV240Y P uses the same Panda panel, so go for the one that is the cheapest of the lot Although I'm leaning towards the AOC as this is the only model out there that is properly reviewed (by Hardware Unboxed)
