Windows 7 OEM upgrade to Windows 10 (Error 0x8007001F - 0x20006)

I have Dell Optiplex 3010 with license OEM activation windows 7.
I using software MediaCreationTool2004 download from https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 for me to upgrade the Windows 7 to Windows 10. After I finish run and suddently I got an Error 0x8007001F - 0x20006

The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation.

We've set your PC back to the way it was right before you started installing Windows 10. rclxub.gif

And I also done using software Windows10Upgrade9252.exe download from Download Windows 10 but still got same error. console.gif

After I click close it will go back as windows 7.

Any solution can fix it?

Hi TS,

Can you try factory default your Win7, make sure the license is activated, update to latest service pack by using windows update. (backup your files first)

Once done try to run MediaCretionTool2004 again for the upgrade. (psst the link you provide above is for UK region MediaCreationTool2004, you can switch region at bottom left for US region)

Dont think so, maybe others have better idea, i wont waste too much time on this because at the end of the day if other solution doesnt work, you will have to come back to this.

Generally win7 can be upgraded to win10 in normal condition, but if your win7 isnt healthy like infected with stuff or HDD not healthy you would run into issues.

Do a clean install instead of dirty upgrade
