My Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro casing is falling apart, I think because the rubber is breaking apart due to our tropical weather.

It is very unsightly already, and had found this item on Shopee...

Is there anyone in LYN that offers service to transplant the laptop's motherboard to the new case?

I have fat fingers, so they're not exactly the most stable when working with tiny, thin ribbon cables.

I have the same lappy and same problem as you. You need to buy from A, B, C and D and probably battery too. It all cost around RM 400 even if directly from China via air shipping.
I have decided to make a diy plate to put into ITX chasis. It's a mod and more economical than buying new case for Yoga 2 Pro and problem will come again in 3 years.

Wrap your laptip instead of replacing the whole casing
It'll be cheaper that way and you don't have to worry about the same thing happening again in the future

I bought many ThinkPad parts from Shopee to restore my old ThinkPads. All DIY. Hardest was the T540P bottom base. Had to remove entire mid frame plus wiring to new base. New bottom base only RM 100.

No sad.gif

I think because it's an old model, nobody offers such services anymore
