Want to buy a laptop with budget 3k to 3.6k..normal business use plus light video editing for some vlogging..is this a good buy? Not sure if the spec for this swift 5 can support to edit 4k videos.

Any laptop can be used to editing, the difference is the time it needed to complete. If you have powerful specs, exporting time usually 20-90 minutes depending on your timeline. ZM Fong liked this post

QUOTE(ZM Fong @ Aug 3 2020, 12:36 PM) Weight as long not too heavy thn should be fine..ocassionally may need to bring out for work or travel..went to tmt the sales recommended me a few gaming laptop weight >2kg..Jz nt sure is this i5-1035g1 an outdated processer? Jz wan to make sure im not spending 3k+ for outdated processer. And the mx250 graphic card sufficient for video editing? My current laptop been using for 7 years..cnt even support any video editing software..currently using phone to edit my OSMO pocket video..screen too small.. |

mx250 is painful for 4k editing, alongside the thin machine with meh at best heat dissipation
if you want light get something like the MSI GF63, thin and light gaming laptop with decent cooling and gaming specs 6 cores i7 and 1650 is good |

Light video editing should be fine. it may not be able to support up to 4k since it only has 14 inch screen but i guess for its specs and performance, it should be fine for what you are doing |
