Does cash back credit cards work with TnG eWallet reload? PBB? SCB? HLB? RHB? MBB?

RM0.30-6 rebate on RM15 and above (no max)... at best probably 20% but not really worth spending any effort to do anything different, since it is only max of RM6 and promotion is only for 3 months

Every cash back and reward maximisation thread in lowyat is about smart consumers stretching their ringgit. A bit strange for Touch n Go to blacklist especially since the cash back is really just peanuts.

When will TnG allow better linking or transfer of cash between the card and the app ?

May times I drive past the RFID lane and got error insufficient funds, but my app is linked to my card and this works in other TnG lanes in the reverse manner, except RFID. Why not deduct from my card ?

Why can't I also transfer money to and from app and card ? Same company but incompatible products...

They should redesign the whole thing.

Bigpay card and bigpay app both are one and the same...
Using both will deduct the value off your account in exactly the same way... Problem is TnG put cash inside the card almost literally... and scanning the card vs. app vs. RFID tag are all different systems..

I used for 7-11, MyNews ice cream, and Tealive promos. All just so happened passed by.

The worst is Giant.. I spent and went to customer service to ask for voucher... But they said it's only if I spent on schooling merchandise.. which is never in the TnC...

Didn't get my RM10 voucher.. felt so cheated.

If it's a negligible % they won't spend the effort and cost to catch you... But if it becomes too widespread then you'll need to be verified using your IC or other ID to curb such behaviour...

Imagine a promotion only has 10,000 beneficiaries giving free RM5 cash back per account.. and a bunch of people create 100 dupes each to rack up RM500 each for themselves ... who are we stealing these money from? Most likely from our fellow Malaysians who could actually use that RM5...

Agree.. nobody says they need to give us minimum 10 sen per every RM5 of spend. That's 2% minimum already.. enjoy while it lasts.. these RM5 range transactions are nice but meant to entice everyday kedai runcit and kedai mamak spenders.. probably can get average rm20 cash back each month during promo period.. it's a lot but also not a lot.. haha

So thought to update on the Giant voucher debacle at Kelana. Went back with my old receipt and this time it was a different manager. He said give, so the admin gave. Took the rm10 voucher, spent again at Giant and then redeemed another RM10 voucher... haha

Yesterday I tried 6 times with 2 shell stations all cannot make payment with my TnG.. quite frustrated I end up pump using other means...

Lazada can pay TNB now? I remember trying a gazillion times before but never worked.

PS: Just spent RM150 at Guardian today... haiyo, wasted liao..
