tried wise once can reload. after that no longer can reload with wise

those who need to use tng ewallet...

1) use kiple+visa card or boost+beyond card (if eligible)
2) use cc to reload kiplepay (rm1k limit) or boost (rm1k limit) -- no fee, as of now
3) use kiple visa or boost beyond to reload tng ewallet --- cards detected as Debit Card
4) fund will be Transferable

i think enrichmoney+visa card should also behave the same. didnt try this card > tng ewallet.

but cannot reload using cc directly. use the above ewallets/cards > enrichmoney > tng ewallet (tbc  verified below)

this morning got a bug. O.O NT can be transferred. Not sure will those transactions will kena "manual adjustment" or not. Will let let you guys know in the coming days.

When i click "how to use" i notice:
- Expiry date: valid for 1 June 2024 00:00:00 to 23:59:59

When i click into individual voucher i notice:
- Expiry date: valid for 6 June 2024 00:00:00 to 23:59:59

TongCN you pay 99 sen only. only risk is when June 1st comes, all the fuel vouchers disappear. then you are forced to spend at places you don't usually go to

not sure what's wrong with tng reload using debit card recently.

for me, sometimes its keep on loading non stop and can't even proceed.

but sometimes can reload, hit or miss approach.

It is a territory of Unionpay / Alipay / Wechatpay.

Many places don't accept Visa/Mastercard/Amex in China. Even Unionpay issued outside Malaysia may be rejected.

Nowadays you can use TNG (QR) at Alipay+ merchants, SarawakPay (must activate Unionpay) at Unionpay QR merchants.

Or Link your Visa to Alipay (Alipay App).

Last time I used Alipay for foreigners (must have a Visa issued by China Embassy), top up using Malaysian credit cards, a few % surcharge by the card issuer as well as Alipay. Now you can have Alipay account directly, tied directly to your credit card, but of course you need to pay ~2.5% to your bank (credit card foreign transactions), I don't know how much Alipay will charge on using the service.

I haven't used SarawakPay in China. No comments.

If you really want to use card, go to Bank of China (Kuching/KL) to get Greatwall Prepaid Unionpay. You may open a Unionpay Savings Account at Public Bank, but not all the merchants will accept "foreign" Unionpay.

A wallet is supposed to behave like a bank. I can put my money into my wallet at all times, I can withdraw money out of my wallet any time. No restrictions. It's just that no interest is paid on the money in my wallet.

Is your amount big? I transfer hundreds of ringgit between banks (usually digital banks these days). No question asked.

But if 25k, 50k these type of amount sure will kena.
