I am wondering why some people are so reluctant to use CASA or debit card to top up TNG wallet, but to use CASH instead. (Not applicable to those prefer using credit cards)

Using e-cash (ewallet credit) no need to have so many bank notes and coins in the wallet. No need to withdraw cash at ATM. No need to worry cash get stolen or fake banknotes.

Keep the money in TNG wallet, still can earn 3.5% p a. +/- interest, but most of the people prefer to keep the money at bank savings account with <3% p.a. interest.

A wallet is supposed to behave like a bank. I can put my money into my wallet at all times, I can withdraw money out of my wallet any time. No restrictions. It's just that no interest is paid on the money in my wallet.

Or am I misunderstanding anything here?
