If you don't qualify you can still try to claim on TnG. You won't get the RM30 but you wlll get the Rewards from TnG.

i went to 2 7e...all insisted can't pay bills using TnG even though i shown them the 7e-TnG website
cashier told me to pay with cash (after i repeatedly told them even KL branches can do it, nationwide but how come EM branches can't ?)

really frustrated...so at the 2nd 7e, i insisted the cashier to call their manager in KL or wadever HQ to verify..
after 15 minutes waiting, finally the cashier willing to try

moral of the story: be persistent, and prepare your bill barcode for them to scan
