 port forwarding for maxis b660 router

Have anyone tried doing port forwarding with a maxis b660 router or any other maxis router with no success?? Even when i enable dmz it still does not work.

Is it mobile data?

If its yes then sorry 4G no public IP, normal 4G is assigned with private IP which you cannot port forwarding. Same to all other telco.

Otherwise you subscribed to Maxis Business 4G plan then you may request for public IP then you able to do port forwarding. Any business plan may able to request public IP.

Post a screen shot of your configurations, you might have done it wrongly.

Also, what are you trying to achieve of having a port forwarding ? Home CCTV ?

It's for a mobile report application .I am certain that i have correctly set up the port forwarding.I even followed the guide here

It is important to setup a static ip address in the device that you are forwarding a port to. This ensures that your ports will remain open even after your device reboots.
