those heat is not good for your XO in the long run...cooling is the better way....my cooling method make my falcon XO running COOL....cant feel the heat at the exhaust fan. FALCON STILL HOT.COOL YOUR XO.

OK so here is the REAL proof that Falcon also got 3ROD, damn MS. If my Falcon got 3ROD in future, i will not turn into X360 anymore, PS3 is the way to go

anyway, it doesn't seems to be fake though. (after looking at youtube, the mobo , power brick)

it has the big Heatsink, 2 Transistor "sleeping down" and extra GPU heatpipe.

Thinking of buying a new 1 since mine died twice already. But dunno wait for Falcon or jasper.

Nah i do believe Falcon will get 3rod. Is commen sense and Ms dunno got use brain or not. You play game of course your GPU will overheat more then your CPU unless you plan to buy Xbox 360 for watching movies....

Is just theory base where you know you will use more GPU then Cpu while playing.

I'll wait for the jasper set and get a elite with it ( cause my lcd, speaker, ps3 all black  so if like Xbox 1 white not nice    ) and the extra size of HDD.

I think depends on how long you play the console a day.

maybe 3rod come when the owner play less ( merajuk so give 3rod ) 

3rods doesn't come even though you play it everyday or how long you play it. I have just been hit by it and I been playing console like everday more than 8 to 10 hours a day. 3rod symptoms most probably occur when your game hangs half way like 3 to 2 times ... after that .. BOOM ... 3 rod. So no matter how long you on your xbox or play your xbox. When 3rod comes ... it comes .... Now ... time to look for something to do with my free time.

it consider very odd that you have to "turn on" everyday to last long.

as what I presume, everyday you turn on, the soldering balls are kept on intact (cause you been playing it everyday that the soldering have no choice but to melt )

but I read another article that crack soldering ball is a common problem which doesn't cause the 3 ROD.

I really have no idea what does cost the problem

since all my xbox 360 is still alive yet.

Too bad. i own a Xbox 360 for a year already. And Already hit me 3 time already 3rod.

So I doubt mine can last any longer before gears of war 2 comes out. So waiting for a jasper.

Yesterday I played 10 hours straight ( 1 hour break ) 4pm - 3am. I was sleepy when and lie on the bed waiting for the console too cooldown before off, i dose off, then woke up at 7am to close the console. LOL. 

Reduced for WAT?? still kena 3ROD wat.. so wat the point.. if they reduced the chip (both GPU & COU).. and 3ROD gone ok lor.. u can proud of it....  ....

Below 360 Falcon manuf date :11/2007, pic taken from my normal shop ( u all very familiar with this shop.. ..)... hit by 3ROD...    .. bravo M$ u done good job give us piece of sh$t.... .....i buy 360 (new falcon Elite) coz the game not the console.... if game like sh$t i think bye2 already la... i will NEVER buy 360...  ...

Mine still ok.. but im lucky got 360 manuf's date :02012008.. very new one.. ... hope mine tak kena 3ROD.. coz my previous machine still ok... ( just sold it to friend ..almost 2 year already..hehe.. )
