It's funny..... I have my White 360 For about a year plus or so, and have no problems. My Elite (bought in Sept last year) had problems ONLY because of a faulty drive, not a 3ROD.

But I place my Xbox360s on a lifted wire mesh frame (bought from Ikea) and place it horizontally. I noticed alot of you had 3ROD because it was vertical and the thermal paste basically melted downwards. I also have been running both boxes like mad (The WhiteBox360 suffered when I first bought it AND stupid Guitar Hero 2 and my Elite was tortured on Live, Call of Duty 4, Halo3 AND Guitar Hero 3). If I don't play (which I don't play enough), my DAD plays waaaaaaaay more then me, sometimes running 10 hours straight. Ask Djinn, he met my dad. I also have the air-condition running all the time when I'm playing the 360 also.
