no way, ive confirmed that my 360 bought a week before thanksgiving is a falcon. checked the heatsink, the watage, and less accurately, the noise and heat produced.

My original Elite Xbox360 was sent for a faulty drive back in December (Bought it as soon as they arrived in Gamer's Hideout. I bought it in September and was running great, until the drive had problems. I suspect it was running on the old Zephyr motherboard because the Falcon wasn't made ready then.

But guess what! Just got it BACK from Gamer's Hideout, completely brand new AND has Falcon! Woo hoo!!!!!

ATTENTION TO EVERYONE!, I have experienced some freezing issues with my 360! It is Falcon, and it's confirmed as a Falcon. Freeze happened today at around 11.30pm (no picture since i'm quite panick at that time) while playing Assasin's Creed. The machine just froze, no glitch, just froze. I restart the 360 (by turn off power button), start it up again and i play until about an hour then i stop because feeling sleepy. Tomorrow i'll to test more thoroughly whether it is experiencing 3ROD symptoms. I have posted my picture of 360 at earlier page in this topic (just in case you want to see), it is a Falcon 360. Hopefully it's just the DVD.     

3rods doesn't come even though you play it everyday or how long you play it. I have just been hit by it and I been playing console like everday more than 8 to 10 hours a day. 3rod symptoms most probably occur when your game hangs half way like 3 to 2 times ... after that .. BOOM ... 3 rod. So no matter how long you on your xbox or play your xbox. When 3rod comes ... it comes .... Now ... time to look for something to do with my free time.

I think it's funny since DjiNn say his 1st batch work until now..and this is not the 1st time i heard it from a seller themself.
i think the theory is right...U hav to play the box every day as what the console seller doing ,as they also power-on the console everyday for displaying.

DjiNn, how old is ur eldest xbox360 ??? Mine one is almost 1 year n 5 month.....  i m not sure my X0 is either first batch or second batch, the MFR date is 14-8-2006.
