so....my xbox is bought on april 2008, manufactured date feb.2008, and I use the flashlight method and what I saw is a copper heatpipe (which is negative result for a falcon chip)...but I also found only 2 inductor lying on the board and also extra heatsink for the GPU (which is positive result for falcon chipset).....


therefore, can I assume the method for flashlight test for copper heatpipe can't be used now because of the 3 diff. heatsink design...right???...

that's cos the xb360 batch starting from january this year has a copper heatpipe for the GPU replacing the old heatsink

yeah....why did they do that??....changing back to the heatpipe design?? more heat transfer??

guys do me a favour.how much does 360 cost me one these day? really looking forward to grab one.can anybody give me rough idea? currently located outside klang valley.in my place they dont sell ori console all selling modded version only.thanks

nothing to do with elite , halo edition , premium or arcade..

most of the latest XB360 using FALCON chip ( LOT 734 and above )...tak kisah lah elite , premium , halo 3 edition atau arcade , semua guna chipset yang sama iaitu FALCON..Chipset yang terbaru 65nm...

bout 3rod...so far FALCON the best...no complaint bout it...if so very rare FALCON set kena 3rod berbanding ZEPHYR dan XENON chipset.

but still there's about 10% chance. (read bout it some where. i think xbox scene, cant remember where tho) most probly its just a rough figure.

well...a few months aback i had a choice of 360 and PS3. i took the 360. i like the games. and i have no regrets till today. i guess the 3ROD is just something i'll have to live with. anyways. i got a falcon... lol...

im so tired to answer this kindda question...there`s no limit play Xbox360..if somebody afraid of 3rod...dont buy any console`s on the market...ride bicycle at playground more better though
