I have this account frozen, got money inside but I rarely use. They sent me a letter asking me to transfer some money in order to activate. Few weeks later then i only took action trying to transfer via online from maybank to rhb, but it says frozen.

Can I still reactivate my account or they have freeze my account forever?

If you didn't use the account over a certain period of time (>1 year) then your account will be turn into dormant/inactive account. I had my inactive account reactivated by withdrawing OTC

If it's dormant, you will have to do it over the counter.

YES, they may, for we are not sure of the "main" reason(s) for it to be frozen?
it could be some police reports begin reported against your a/c or there can also be some garnishing proceeding going on now against your a/c, etc etc

but generally, if normal situation, ..the bank will returns you your money unless it has been > 7 yrs since you last touched it

that's the only way to reactivate it

money still there, just frozen. after 7 years of dormancy, it'll be parked in unclaimed monies.

your a/c had been frozen, how can you do any transaction into your a/c from outside of that own bank's system?

It should be dormant. You need to perform a transaction over-counter to activate it.

If it is dormant for more than 7 years, you will need to claim it back from Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia
