Trial and error. Merries is on par with Mamypoko too. Was the size correct?

I tried Mamypoko before but its material quite rough. Going to try Applecrumby as review says its material super soft. Using merries now.

Has been using mamypokos Airfit and merries mostly for my 2 years old+ daughter , superb without leak.
Recently tried mamypokos on my newborn son and have some leak, perhaps there is different between boy and girl. Tried a few pieces Dryper touch samples, felt not bad as it's dried up fast |

Have tried Merries, Mamypoko, genki, petpet
Petpet is so-so. Cheap but leaks occasionally Merries is expensive. Soft and thin but no leaks. Mamypoko works well. The extra dry and airfit both dont leak. Genki is just as good. Soft, not too thick and So far no leaks either. Now I use genki pants mostly. Son prefers pants to tape. Wallet friendly and to me almost same like mamypoko . |

My son is super active. Hence, pants is easier for us to use. And the fact that he drink a lot of water, he pee a lot. Thats why overnight use tends to leak. Headache lar.

QUOTE(LeoLilieno @ Sep 18 2020, 03:47 PM) Boy or girl? Change a new diaper before sleep. If keep leaking then you need to go down 1 size test see. Get 1 or 2 sample from supermarket promoter. When it leaks and you change, does the diaper super heavy like brick? |

There's no 1 brand suits all you need to use them yourself to decide if it is suitable. And if yes stick to it

QUOTE(KamisF @ Oct 7 2020, 11:33 AM) Same. my baby was 3.3kg and 51cm long. ended up on newborn diapers for 1 month plus. Switched to S size offspring shortly and currently using Applecrumby. Love the softness of Applecrumby, so far no leakage on both brands. And the indicator is very helpful as well. |

normally there are three grades for each brand. For instance, economical grade, mid range and premium grade. Focusing on brand itself is not a fair comparison. Huggies gold (green packaging) is the optimum between price and quality and no leakage so far.

Drypers Touch, best for night use. Never had any leakage issue or smell. Tried all other Japanese brands, none come close to Touch. Japanese brands tend to let the smell escape ie very unpleasant especially in a AC room.

For firstborn i use mamypoko extra dry for night use.
For younger brother, we received the applecrumby newborn gift set when he was born from a friend and has been using the same brand since then (8+ months). Very absorbent and soft. |
