There are lots, Zidane, Matt Le Tissier, John Barnes, Roberto Baggio, Denilson, Ronaldinho, Stece Macmanaman, Robinho, Maradona, Lionel Messi, Tevez...

Plus there are bound to be some average player or someone unherald of suddenyl took a game by storm and cribble pass the whole of opposition and score.

It's one thing playing in the championship or lower league and it's another playing in the EPL. A very good M League player who takes the league by storm, scoring double hattrick in every match might struggle to make the under 19 squad at an EPL club, nonetheless, he's some exceptional talent in that league.

Having said that, there are players who can make the step up with ease, Tim Cahill for instance, another is Steve Finnan, having played in all division of the English league right up to EPL as well as EUFA Cup & CL Final (and WIN!!!) AS well as the World Cup & Euro (not sure about Euro).

That's the thing mate, but we can only call it as we see it eh? Phil Jagielka is consistently rated amongst the top ten players in the Championship, but he's only been average in the Premiership if you ask me.
*
He's rated highly because he is the ultimate utility player, can play EVERYWHERE, even in goal. Nicknamed "swiss army knife of football"... biggrin.gif tongue.gif

If anyone of you have wondered what the hype over Matthew Le Tissier is all about, have a look at this.
Chose to remain with 'The Saints' his whole career despite interest from top sides, immensely talented and loyal.

The thing is that he does it so casually, selamba only when he pulls out the tricks...
