Yup, that's right. But you can still do this on the internet, without having to go to a doctor's office. There's a reputable local site my brother visited that allowed him to have a consultation with a professional, entirely online. He was prescribed Finasteride and Minoxidil, which were delivered to his house. The price was very reasonable. I'll have to dig for the site's details if you want them.

Just walk into pharmacy and ask for finasteride. Or another known name is propecia or proscar.

U can get the 1gm or 5gm. 5gm usually cheaper. Then get a tablet cutter to cut into 4pcs. Thats roughly 1.25gm each. Don't hav to be same side.. important is u take daily. After 1yr + ur hair loss will reduced and if it works ... that means u shud see hair start growing slightly. But dont hope for miracle..at the very least, u can keep your current available hair.

But there's a side effect..around 4% might have fertility issue. Some say once u stop taking then ur condition will return to normal. But who knows...
