Indeed.
Even on the Accord. Never really understood why HM would cheap out on NVH on thier Accord.
Just to compare the Yaris and Jazz, the yaris is a lot quieter and you can see where Toyota has put effort in. On the Yaris the front fenders have a layer of sound deadening mat. I am sure the rest of the car is also better insulated.
However, the Jazz drives better and is more connected. The interior space is spacious and less claustrophobic and is more practical. Interior of the Yaris is fairly badly designed for a compact car. The ergonomics and interior setup is a little weird. Huge blind spot on the rear quarter.
We cross shopped both the Jazz hybrid and Yaris G. Both same price but the wife went with the Yaris because it is more comfortable and quieter and had more airbags, 360 camera, blind spot monitor and a better head unit . But I prefer the driving feel of the Jazz.
