Guys, I have placed booking for X50 quite some time, don't frame me in to a Subaru fanboi, I am speaking from experience of having a Forester.

I'm just stating the fact that the car is better equipped compared to HRV which not much people aware including a better Dual Wishbone suspension setup.

I just can't take it when people keep arguing HRV is better than XV spec wise.

Besides that some of the points I am trying to bring up is when you are owning cars at X50 price range, maintenance price are expected to be high otherwise you are in the wrong thread if you keep talking about RV and that fraction of difference in maintenance. And lastly X50 is no where near cheap to be maintained as well.

In the end its your money, if you are comfortable and happy with what you get, there's nothing wrong with it.

I had attempt to bring back the topic back to X50 before this then there's just people who wanna argue about this again and again then comparing orange with apple.

I agree that this type of car (X50), maintenance wise would not be cheap. People need to embrace this fact & enjoy the ride

This statement u just gave can also be equally mocking people in this X50 group that we buying an SUV with Auto Parking that we don't use,
or a sunroof that we don't need, does that means we are ignorance?

Like I said these feature are good to have feature, if you buy a car according to needs, X50 is not the car u looking for, should just settle with Basic sedan.

The AWD system is different to 4WD in Kembara in term of tech.

This is as equal as today someone came here to mock the DCT gonna kaput soon like his VW he used to own

We are all here ready to accept something out of the norm from the X50 like the adoption of Turbo/3 Cylinder Engine/Timing Belt/Dual clutch transmission.
Today still many people out there doubting the choice and reliabilities despite tons of explanations and manufacture claims.

Please don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to tell u all to look things in different perspective, sometimes one flaws we point out three pointing back, people have their choice to make their decision its their money, as long they happy with what they've purchased, but spreading inaccurate info and hating other cars because it is not your choice of car is a no no to me.

If most Malaysian are like him, then we can see most manufacturers acting like UMW.

Luckily now most manufacturers heard our demand, starting from safety package etc. 2020 still UMW throw away Halogen bulbs car

Imagine becoming the only country with top selling car for kosong spec because people think they only need what they need..
Buying first car look for essential with low price point is reasonable to say that la,

But for X50, not to say a Luxurious car, but mostly are for people who want something more than just basic,
mindset need to change a little when it comes to maintenance and consumption.

Affording a car is not just about your loan approve or not, its about how comfortable you are with the extra cost you need to fork out on top of the monthly installment you have to pay regardless you drive the car or not.

FYI Kembara is a full time 4WD, 25/75 power split if I'm not mistaken. The switch makes it become a 50/50 split

As I pun pakai proton since begining i beli kereta. And now im driving X70 CKD lagi. I suka proton bagi macam2 features yang sepatutnya ada dari basic sampai high end model.

Cuma itula, lain orang lain pendapat. Got pros n cons.
Raikan pendapat dan perbezaan bersama.

Dont get me wrong, I would seriously consider getting X50 if i didnt own a car.

My main message is dont buy the main dish just because of the side dish/discount/free gift they offer. Repair is a headache when a feature that is not important but broken down, and affects the car function/performance.

Yes this what i mean too before. Kalau boleh, itu Tesla masuk peroton, baru tau erti teknologi L4,L5 autonomous.

Paling best, that autopark X50, if can update into X70. I will offer myself to test.

Sorry, I have just got my x50. How do I get to view the tyre pressure monitoring on my screen. It was there earlier but now I just couldnt get this to be displayed. Thanks in advance

You can open box glove dashboard, find you Owner's manual, search index name TPMS.
All inside the book. Read my friend.

OR

Press button on you wiper stick for a few times until you find TPMS.
