I now stuck in dilemma due the my car have weird metal rattle noise from the front of car. Which I think either from wheel area or maybe flywheel.
And yes I already complain and send to my usual sc for car check/diagnose.
After SC checked it, they think likely is flywheel but they not very confirm and then ask me send it to cose. 
But after calling cose SC (phone number I found online), they say they do not provide repair and ask me call the HQ hotline
I tried to called HQ hotline but it always busy 

Anyone can tell me which SC with better experience on repair X50 that I can send it in to?

flywheel noise?
hmm, its sound like 4wd track car (tamiya?), krikkrik gear noise when accelerating.
but it only happen on like 30~80..over that speed unable to hear it (maybe due to tire/road noise gone over it)

I'm going to send my car in for 2y service soon. Are any of the items from the official service listing optional, as shown in the screenshot below.

Seems to be a rather costly service!

For X50 if FC is one of your top 3 concern is better you stay out of it especially if you heavily involved in city drive.
The urge to press the pedal is there, u bought the car with such power feel a bit waste to keep controlling your foot utilizing only small part of the power it can provide.

Highway drive it really can sip acceptable level of fuel if you drive within speed limit.

my FC can range from 6km/L in city to 14km/L in highway because I live in hilly area with 2km drive per trip at <30km/h speed, but that itself I only fuel up like twice a month at total cost <RM150 per month so the FC doesn't concern me

Trunk road aggressive drive from KL to Kota Bharu got me about 13km/L, 5 hours journey with lots of Sport mode pedal to floor overtaking.

Is this car still worth it in 2024?

doubt they will change back to 4 cylinders, money has already been invested hugely for the Tanjung Malim factory to take 3 cylinders production hub. at least another 3-5 years for ROI. Wonder they wanna invest more for 2.0T here. During the 1.5T introduction on X70, all Media keep on praising this engine better than 1.8T 4 cylinders wheres the 1.8T also cw latest tech like TGDI etc. Proton game to make sure all use 1.5T perhaps?

i more interesting if they able to 'upgrade' 1.5 mpi/tgdi into hybrid on later FL or new model.
but all these so called x50 killer barely 'breathing' as they got tons problem on their own lol
with x50 sold like 2K per month. i think giving x50 1~2yr before 'killer' stabilize and killing it...x50 probably got few hundred K maybe more on the road already....
now look back what they comment in 2020, you will laugh....
ofc x50's 3cyl not the best 3cyl out there..but technically the best 3cyl i ever sit on (ofc ayam org kampung, nobody drive beemz for me to test)
