First, the equipment :-

Computer 1 - Dell latitude E7450 laptop with docking station (DP connection)
Computer 2 - PC with i7-880 and RX5700XT Sapphire Pulse
Monitor A - BenQ Zowie XL2411P
Monitor B - Dell S2716dgf

During MCO, I connected the E7450 to the XL2411P via DP on the docking station to the monitor and was able to select 144Hz in the display adapter options on windows.

As of late, I gave the XL2411P to another family member and connected the S2716dgf to the E7450 using the same cable and ports but I can't get anything more than 60Hz. Anyone know why?

The only troubleshooting I've done is to connect the S2716dgf to the PC using the same DP cable and Im able to select 144Hz. Ive swapped around cables and got the same results.

Thanks, that gave me an idea to check out if the graphics on the laptop supports 1440p and 144hz. I did try to change it to 1080p but then I was still getting 60hz.
