it doesn't matter you apply the min of that category or any upper amount, you still have your money back for those portion which were not subscribed by you. and he will certainly get the highest allocation as per the public allocation table.

what's the issue?

If we kena the "ballot", how fast is the refund of the balance ? Is it the same as "tak kena" refund ?

it depends if they put you into which category, partial refund? or reserve list.

partial refund is faster than reserve list.

but it only takes a few days. it won't be very long. anyway, when you invest these money, it is not the money you use to buy diaper etc, so shouldn't be part of your emergency fund.
the listing is coming up in mid august, so i suspect at most also 2 weeks wait?

reserve list = in case of someone who has already been allocated but disqualified, then those on the reserve will come up and replace.

You can estimate the % chance and actual allotment

there is no issue, only highlighting it does not provide any advantage than just sticking to the min amount of the tier.

personally i would prefer to put the balance of RM 7.5 mil elsewhere, and at the rate of 2% per annual, that would means slightly over 2k of interest for 5 days.
