I am still keeping my house analog phone for house alarm and recently it is faulty. TM has came and claim that it is my internal wiring which is having problem, I've checked it seems that although there is voltage around 12v but it stlll it won't establish connection, no ring tone.

the voltage is consistent, i would like to troubleshoot because it is a conceal wiring before resorting to do new wiring.

I am having 2 looping from TM, one goes to ground flr and another to the 1st flr, both having around 12v but funny is that only the ground flr can't be used. But I do observed that there are 4 wires in 1 loop and even though 2 wires which is not connected to the source from TM but yet it still have voltage around 12v!

is there any contact that can do a phone line repair since i am trying to safe my phone conceal wire

definitely it works because the one that goes to my 1st flr work whereas the one that goes to ground is the one that is not
