about the multi adapter i think someone in jamtank can custom make it. the only problem is the fitting...hmmm a lot more cash to burn... sweat.gif

But if your 1Spot can satisfy your needs, then no need any custom adapters... But if you do intend to expand your pedalboard to like a gazillion pedals, a regulated/isolated adapter is much recommended...

using one spot is fine...but it doesn't go well with my MI Audio. the 60 cycle hum is really bugging me...tried everything...changing the cables, switcing the pedals around....but the hum is still very noticeable. Does a noise gate eliminates this kind of hum? if so which one do u recommend...so far i've only came across NS2 (can try it out from my friend) and rocktron Hush pedal...but that one kindda expensive for a pedal that does nothing but diam2-ing your other pedals.

Oh? Any sound clips to provide? Coz the last time I tried it, one of the channels sounded real heavy.

Even if you use your MIA CB only?
For noise gate, the ISP Decimator is the best noise gate in a pedal before moving onto rack units. It's around RM500.
But for that price, ever thought of getting a regulated multi adapter? The only one on the market right now is the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+, or else you'll have to get one custom made.

battery and MIA CB stand alone will solve the issue. it's the power supply that's creating this noise. i'll see whether that guy can custom make the voodoo lab. or...ill just use the cheapo behringger noise gate....saw the clip in utube. quite effecient as anoise gate.

I think by getting a regulated power supply made would be more efficient, as it will most probably solve your problems in the long term.

I think sound clips would be the best to judge on which to get it. I've sent you some of my PODxt LIVE clips, if anyone wants to recommend you some other stuff, I suggest you requesting some sound clips from them to judge it yourself... I'll try to record some Muse-esque clips for you...

So you're saying it now sounds much more heavier than the stock DS1?

Double check with MA regarding the schematic.

Strongly recommend that you go find a driller and fix that switch, so you can compare the stock DS1 channel with the other two channels on the fly, that way you can hear the difference, which is quite vast IMO...

Go for the POD XTL lar. laugh.gif
If you're talking about sound quality, most of the modern multi-fx units could pretty much get you as close to a miked-up amp tone. It's just a matter of sitting down and tweaking the unit imho.

How about record something similar? So you can compare them.
As you want some Muse, why not the intro of Hysteria?
